We said goodbye to our little cabin at Hickory Run State Park, packed up all our gear, and embarked on the long, long drive home.

We spent the morning at the hotel pool, alternately swimming, reading, and sunbathing...

The heat wave continued, but we didn't let that stop us from hiking...

Dad drove down from Maine to Woods Hole, but missed the ferry he intended to catch...

No responsibilities, and a perfectly beautiful day for exploring the island!

Dacey and Sam both swam, whereas I ran off to huddle in the car during a downpour...
