The Haze & Dacey Collective
The Haze & Dacey Collective is what happens when the indie-folk duo Haze & Dacey brings additional musicians into the mix to fill out the sound and spice things up, veering toward (roots-)rock with the addition of drums and electric guitar. The song selection is a mix of original music and offbeat covers, ranging from twangy dystopian folk-punk to light-hearted folk-pop, and from sassy alt-country to sultry swing.
The band's debut album, Letters from Gilead, was released on November 12, 2021. Live performances have included the Roots Concert Series at the Frontier Culture Museum (Staunton, VA) and the Fidos After Five concert series at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden (Richmond, VA), with more on the horizon.
